Fundacion Kaleidos - Argentina
Jakairá has established itself as a leading project in the region, bridging the gap between adolescence and early childhood. The program is distinguished by its holistic approach and its commitment to supporting adolescent mothers and fathers. The main objective of the program is to provide free, personalized support to young parents, focusing on the restitution of their rights and those of their children.
This support program is based on an approach centered on the needs of adolescents, helping them access their fundamental rights, develop autonomy, and prevent future unintended pregnancies. By offering educational support services and psychological assistance, Jakairá contributes to breaking the cycle of poverty and provides young parents with the tools they need to build a better future for themselves and their children.
The bioMérieux Endowment Fund supports the "Jardín Maternal Jakairá", which offers free daycare to 26 children of these young parents who are still adolescents. Through this initiative, it supports the development of young children through musical and artistic activities, allowing young parents to continue their education while strengthening parent-child bonds.
