Lolie Eccles Early Education Center - Salt Lake City

Since 1966, YWCA Utah has been offering preschool education to families in the Salt Lake area.

The project provides scholarships to low-income domestic violence survivors’ families, enabling their children aged six weeks to 6 years to access high-quality childcare, preschool, and kindergarten at YWCA Utah’s Lolie Eccles Early Education Center in the heart of Salt Lake City, Utah.

The Fund supports 15 scholarships to establish more equitable access to crucial early childhood education and care during their formative years. These scholarships positively impact children's development, contributing to long-term academic achievement and social well-being, enhancing educational equity, and promoting parental workforce participation.
